Terms of use

Simple, fair terms for a free app.

Last updated 11 October 2026.

1. The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Workaholic Developers ("we", "us") about the Zapdrop app and this website. By using Zapdrop you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. Zapdrop is free

Zapdrop is free to use, with no ads and no account. If we ever offer paid extras, the app will show the price clearly before you pay, and the purchase will be handled by the App Store or Google Play under their terms.

3. Your licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use Zapdrop on devices you own or control, as allowed by the store you got it from. If you downloaded Zapdrop from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and these terms add to it. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or for supporting it; we are.

4. What you send is your responsibility

You keep all rights to what you send, and we never see it. You are responsible for what you send and receive with Zapdrop: make sure you have the right to share it, and that the person you send it to wants it.

Do not use Zapdrop to send anything illegal or harmful, someone else's work without permission, viruses or other malicious software, or to harass anyone or push content on people who have not agreed to receive it.

5. Lawful and fair use

Use Zapdrop only for lawful purposes and on networks you are allowed to use. Do not try to get into other people's devices, interfere with their transfers, get around a PIN or a confirm code, or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.

6. Networks and security

Zapdrop works over your local network. Transfers between Zapdrop apps are encrypted, and the computer page is protected by a PIN, but no network is perfectly secure. Use networks you trust for private files, check the confirm code, and accept transfers only from people you know. Keep your own backup of anything important until you have checked that it arrived.

7. No warranty

Zapdrop is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. We work hard to make transfers reliable, and Zapdrop checks every file it delivers, but we can't promise that the app will be free of errors, never interrupted, or work with every device and network.

8. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Workaholic Developers is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, files, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Zapdrop. Our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid us for Zapdrop in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is higher.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement.

9. Changes and ending

We may update the app and these terms. If a change is significant, we will update the date above and mention it in the app's update notes. You can stop using Zapdrop at any time by deleting it. We may stop offering the app; files you already received stay on your devices.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. This does not take away any right you may have to bring a claim in your own country under its consumer law.
